A portable DVD player works just like a miniature version of a regular DVD player. You put the DVD into the slot on the portable DVD player and enjoy watching a movie. The screen is much smaller than a television, but they are still big enough to enjoy watching a movie. Most portable DVD players also come with a spot to plug in headphones so everyone in the room doesn’t have to hear the movie. Instead, you can relax in your own little world with your new movie.

Portable DVD players are a great option for people that are looking for a DVD player for the car. These are a nice option for people that do not want to install tv screens or DVD players into the headrest on their seat but still want the kids to be able to relax and watch a movie for a long drive. Most of these products are going to come with one or two accessories, but hardly any of them will have everything that a customer needs.

Product reviews can tell you is someone else bought the product and it broke easily, if it was harder to mount the DVD player in the car than stated in the product description, or any other problems that you may run into. Make sure to read the product reviews that are from verified purchasers to get an accurate review from someone that definitely bought the product. Sometimes, companies will pay people to write fake reviews, so beware of reviews stating how great the product is if the person is not a verified purchaser.
